About 500 BC, a Greek statesman by the name of Heraclitus said, "Nothing endures but change."  Change was going on before Heraclitus noticed, and it's been going on ever since. I'm fairly certain it will continue. Just think of the change we've seen in the last 100 years.  The automobile, the airplane, space flight, men on the moon, the computer, the internet, a new information based economy, DNA mapping and genetic engineering, just to name a few.  Change is happening faster and faster every day. The sum total of human knowledge doubles every 2 to 3 years. And with that knowledge, expect change. We can't escape it.
